NYC Wedding Venues

The Tribeca Rooftop was the perfect wedding venue for these two lover’s spring wedding. The wedding venue is located in the trendy neighborhood of Tribeca, located on a cobblestone street. The once 1920s printing press building, is a chic industrial event venue that is perfect for creating a beautiful atmosphere for your wedding. It boasts a beautiful glass atrium and large windows as well as the stunning downtown Manhattan skyline from the private roof. This venue is perfect for weddings of 150-325 guests!

WEDDING HAIR AND MAKEUP

Amelia started her wedding day with her bridesmaids and mom at the Greenwich Hotel in New York, which is a stones throw from her wedding venue, Tribeca Rooftop. Amelia wore a gorgeous slicked back, low chignon bun and natural makeup with her beautiful lace wedding gown and Alexandre Birman white wedding shoes.

NY Bride & Groom photos at Staple Street

Amelia and Tim opted to do a first look before their Tribeca Rooftop wedding. I suggested the iconic Staple Street with it’s gorgeous cobblestone streets and famous sky bridge. This little street was the perfect complement to their rooftop wedding venue. We opted to do a few photos of the couple here. We also did their wedding photos with family before moving to Tribeca Rooftop for some bridal party photos. A little note.. I think about 2 days before Amelia and Tim’s wedding, it snowed. Most of the snow had melted by the Saturday, but we did encounter a few showers as we were doing the portraits and bridal party photos. The photo below of Amelia holding the umbrella is one of my favorite candid wedding photos. She was just so excited to marry Tim that it didn’t matter that it was raining!

Tribeca Rooftop Wedding

After the wedding first look and bridal party photos, we headed to the Tribeca Rooftop to do just a few more portraits of the couple, bridal party photos and family photos.

The Wedding Ceremony Space at Tribeca Rooftop

With 15,000 square feet, this industrial penthouse, aptly named Tribeca 360deg overlooks the historical neighborhood of TriBeCa in NYC. From the rooftop you can see as far south as One World & the Hudson River to the west. There is a huge skylight that let’s in gorgeous natural light by day and the starry night sky after sunset. The beautiful staircase descends towards the large open loft space where you can have your ceremony as well as reception. The exposed brick walls give the space a historic feel, adding another dimension to your wedding reception.

Cocktail Hour and Reception Space

After the ceremony, guests flow into the gorgeous cocktail space. There, Amelia and Tim had set up 10 food stations, bringing in a dine around the world menu. They led guests around the room on a culinary journey with appetizers from sushi to tacos. While guests were enjoying cocktail hour, Sarah True of True Event flipped the ceremony space in just one hour. They transformed the beautiful space with gorgeous white cherry blossoms, the brides favorite. The couple brought spring inside for their wedding, surrounding their guests with a forrest of cherry blossoms.

Evening Reception

Once the wedding decor was set, guests were invited in to surround the dance floor for the couple’s first dance. The couple came down the beautiful staircase and right onto the dance floor. Being an NYC wedding photographer, I love the classic lighting in these images. The direction of the light and the couple’s big smiles are extra timeless. Everyone could totally feel the love in the room! To top it off Amelia’s father gave an emotional speech that had the room in tears.
