Katie & Scott celebrated their love on a beautiful day in July at their Hildene wedding. As a Berkshires wedding photographer, I was so excited to photograph this sweet couple, that calls NYC home! They embraced the warm summer weather and had their ceremony overlooking the beautiful mountains of Manchester. Their Vermont wedding reception was held in the Event Tent where guests could go in and out under the stars.
The Hildene, built by Abraham Lincoln's son operates as a museum & wedding venue located in Manchester, VT. The historic home boasts a sprawling 24 rooms & the mansion sits on 500 acres of land. Nearby your wedding guests can enjoy over 12 miles of hiking & walking trails, rolling meadows, & an observatory. With space to accommodate groups of up to 200 guests, Hildene offers three indoor and outdoor event spaces. The restored formal gardens and terrace overlook the nearby mountains and valleys, while the event tent is perfect for receptions.
As a Berkshires, wedding photographer, the versatility of both the Event Tent as well as the Formal Garden lends to beautiful wedding photos. The Hildene is beautiful all year round, whether you are having a summer soiree under the stars, or a winter wedding inside the Event Tent! The Hildene is one of my personal favorite wedding venues in the Berkshires.
